“Right By My Side” takes a step back from the intensity we’ve come to expect from songs like “Starships.”
The new video is stripped down to its bare bones. Void of effects and jarring color schemes, the images seem to let the lyrics do the talking.
“I can’t say no more than this / I just hope your heart hear me now / Gotta let you know how I’m feeling /You own my heart he just renting” the lyrics chime.”
But possibly more interesting is her PDA with fellow artist Nas.

Before her untimely death, Donna Summers had been in the studio working on her comeback.
On April 19, 2012 she released to iTunes a hip-hop track with rapper O’Mega Red. O’Mega Red is actually Donna Summer’s nephew.

The “No Mercy” rapper has been hospitalized for unclear reasons. Details surrounding the event remain unclear but he was reported admitted on May 16. According to a recent tweet, it looks like 50 will be okay.
“I'm feeling better today I think I'm gonna get out of the hospital soon,” he tweeted today.
In an interview with CNN on Monday, the Brooklyn born rapper and entrepreneur was asked about Obama's support for gay marriage and shocked many by saying, "I've always thought it as something that was still, um, holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business. It's no different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination plain and simple."

After debuting her LP Blown Away at number one on the Billboard 200, Carrie Underwood holds on to the title for the second consecutive week.
On week number two the album sold 120,000 copies. This was enough to conquer Adele’s 21 that sold 101K and Lionel Richie who managed 71K with his tenth studio release, Tuskegee.
