50 Cent And Katy Perry To Perform On New Year's Eve

Halloween just passed, and we’re already talking about the New Year! NBC has just announced their lineup for musical acts on their New Year’s Even special with Carson Daly. The network has gotten 50 Cent, Ludacris, and Katy Perry to ring in 2009. They’ll perform live in Times Square.

Carson said in a statement, “The network gave us a huge vote of confidence by asking us to expand into primetime. We’ve got great music with 50 Cent, Katy Perry, Ludacris. It’s gonna be a huge show, bigger than the Beijing Olympics and if it’s not, I apologize.”

We’re not sure they’ll be able to pull off that feat, but if you’re tuning in, the show will kick off at 10PM on New Year’s Eve.
