ABC Receiving Complaints About Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert may think there was nothing wrong with his AMA performance last night, but a few hundred other people disagree. ABC, the network that aired the show, has received 1500 calls today from people complaining about his sexually explicit performance of “For Your Entertainment.”

According to the AP, people have both called and emailed the network with angry comments on Adam’s S&M-style performance. ABC called it "moderate." Before his performance, Lambert said that he wanted to break down a double standard that existed where female performers are often sexually provocative while men don't do it that often.

A rep for Dick Clark productions said in a statement, “Due to the live nature of the show we did not expect the impromptu moment in question.” They were referring to Adam’s on-stage kiss with his male keyboardist.

To that, Adam responded, "People are scared and it's really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it's all for a laugh, it's really not that big of a deal.”
