Adele is still riding high with the success of her ‘21’ album, but just because she’s rocking the charts doesn’t mean she’s going to take a break.
In an interview with The Sun, Adele confessed she plans to release her forthcoming LP next May, and that the album will feature a cover of the INXS track, ‘Never Tear Us Apart’.
She said, "I have five tracks ready to go. One of them is quite upbeat - a real 'girl power' type of song."
The songstress continued: "I plan to do a cover of the INXS hit 'Never Tear Us Apart' which is probably my fave song of all time. The whole album will have quite a live feel to it."
Meanwhile, she’s had to postpone 5 of her sold out U.S. tour dates due to laryngitis.
"I hate to cancel especially at such short notice. I am truly devastated," Adele wrote on her blog upon her show cancellation in Minneapolis.
"I’m here in the city and tried to do sound check at the venue but if I push through it tonight, it’ll take me longer to get better and more shows may need canceling. Please forgive me!"
The Minneapolis show has been rescheduled for June 22 but the additional 4 shows don’t have a new date yet.
