Adele gave us a minor heart attack when she said that she was going to take some time off…5 years to be exact. Thankfully it’s not true!

She worried all her fans when she told Vogue: “I am f-cking off for four or five years…If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record and be in love and be happy.”

Thankfully Adele has since had a change of heart. She says that she is not taking 5 years off. She wrote a blog post saying, "I've a few days off now, and then it's the Brit Awards here at home and then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"

She also thanked all her fans for their support and said that she had the most incredible night of her life at the Grammy’s on Sunday night.

"The most incredible night of my life. Thank you to you all, I am so overwhelmed, it's the strangest feeling," she said. "I have constant butterflies and Goosebumps, it's wearing me out but I LOVE it!"

Since Adele is in a happy relationship now, is she gonna pen happy tracks? That should be interesting!
