Adele is setting more records and being more end-of-year fabulous. After topping many sorts of lists including iTunes and Billboards-type lists, Adele also has the top-selling digital song sold this year for her hit single, "Rolling In The Deep."

Not only that, but she now holds the record for selling more copies of a single in a calendar year than any other song in digital download history!

Adele is "Rolling In The Deep"-end of a pool filled with gold coins! Did you see what I did there?

"Rolling In The Deep" sold 5,572,000 copies this year, which beat out the previous record holder in 2009 which was The Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow."

Before the invention of digital downloads (LOL WHAT?! COMPACT DISC? GET OUT!) the highest selling single in one year was Elton John's ode to Princess Diana, "Candle In The Wind 1997" which sold 8,011,000 physical copies. How do you even buy a physical single? Is that like one song per CD? How weird!?! Time to bust out my old Walkman and learn about history!

Coming in at #2 on the Top 10 digital downloads was LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" with (4,878,000 copies sold), followed by Katy Perry and Kanye's "E.T." (4,728,000), Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" (3,709,000), and rounding out the top 5 was Maroon 5 & Christina Aguilera's "Moves Like Jagger" (3,700,000).
