Hollyscoop caught up with the 'Cheetah Girls' star to get the low down on her solo album and leaving the group that put her name on the map.
In regards to leaving the group, she said "Yeah [it's true]," adding "I mean it’s just like High School Musical, they went out with their feature film and we went out with our tour.
"We went out with a bang and we're really happy with what we experienced as the Cheetah girls, we're really happy," Bailon told Hollyscoop at the launch of 'Afro Samurai' held the Geisha House earlier this week.
Do you guys think she has what it takes to have a successful solo career? Or should she have just stuck with the group that pays her bills?

Hollyscoop caught up with the "The Cheetah Girls" last night at the"Declare Yourself Domino Effect" bash in Hollywood, where Adrienne gave us the scoop on her solo career. "I am recording a solo album," said Adrienne. She added that she'll be working on the album while the group is on tour.
Adrienne also mentioned that she would love to collaborate with someone like Ne-Yo, who happens to be one of Rob Kardashian's favorite singers.
Speaking of Rob, we asked Adrienne about her thoughts on showcasing her relationship with Rob Kardashian on E's hit show, Keeping up with The Kardashian's. "It was a little uncomfortable and I have only seen those episodes once," said Adrienne. She added that things are great with Rob and that she loves the girls and considers Kris Kardashian her second mother. Wonder if Mommy #2 will be her new manager when she goes solo?
