This past weekend, New York City was overtaken by an electronic dance music epidemic as Electronic Daisy Carnival moved in with full force. Flocks of fans swarmed for two days of non-stop music in the annual festival that has been described as this generation’s Woodstock.
But, skimming the neon-lit grounds of Citi Field, fire-lit in the skies, and the over-stimulated, high-flying mass of attendees all gyrating in and out of unison to headliners like Eric Prydz, Afrojack and Morgan Page, one might make a different, more awesome comparison.
Electric Daisy Carnival makes its way to fabulous Las Vegas starting June 21. Tickets and information on the cultural phenomenon are available via the festival’s official website.
