Listen up y'all, Akon is going country! Rumor on the block is that Akon has recorded a "secret" country album. Why did he do such a thing? Well, apparently he wants to be the first ever successful black artist doing country. Smart.

He's gonna be releasing the album in an alias name because he feels like his fans won't buy the records if he released it under his name.

Maybe Akon and Jessica Simpson could get together and do a country duet. That would be awesome!
