Alicia Keys Bans Philip Morris From Endorsing Her

Alicia Keys is protesting Philip Morris. The tobacco company was initially sponsoring her tour in Indonesia, but then Alicia got a call from the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, which made her quickly react.

The anti-smoking group notified her of Philip Morris' connection with her concert, and urged her to pick the kids over them, which she did.

Alicia says she was unaware of the sponsorship, saying, "I apologize for any misleading advertising initially associated with the show. I am an unyielding advocate for the well being of children around the world and do not condone or endorse smoking. I look forward to bringing my music and message to my wonderful fans in Jakarta."

Philip Morris agreed to tear down all their posters for that particular show. Alicia really smoked em out of that deal!
