But according to Amy, the wait will be over soon. Supposedly. "The album will be six months at the most," Winehouse told London's Metro this week at the premiere of horror flick Psychosis, directed by her new boyfriend Reg Traviss.
"It's going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff... I just can't wait to have some new songs [to perform] on stage."
We're obviously hesitant to believe her, and we're not the only ones. Her longtime friend and producer Mark Ronson told the UK Sun, "Amy hasn't been working on her next record...When she's got 10 songs then we'll go down to the studio together."
She moved to St. Lucia back in 2009 to "finish the album," but all she did was get drunk and harass hotel guests.
So basically don't hold your breath for another Winehouse album.
