It's been a bittersweet year for Amy Winehouse. Her career was at an all time high, but her personal life has been anything but smooth sailing. Good news is that her 'Back to Black' album is the biggest selling album of the year.
The album, which includes hits like "Rehab" and "Back to Black" has sold more than 1.5 million copies in the UK since its release at the end of 2006.
Wino has been nominated for six Grammy Awards including Best New Artist and Best Album for her album.
Matt Phillips, spokesman for record labels body the BPI, told the BBC: "Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is in pole position to be the year's biggest seller.
"But more than 6 million albums were sold last week, and as this weekend is likely to be the biggest of the year for music sales, Leona may close the gap."
British X Factor winner Leona Lewis came in second as the fastest selling debut album in UK history.
