This week's Monday Music Maven is none other than legendary radio host Angie Martinez. Known as "The Voice of New York," as well as the reigning queen of hip hop radio, she currently hosts one of the hottest shows in the country on New York's Power 105.1.
Angie is well-respected and known for her signature laid-back style of interviewing, as well as her unique ability to get up-close and personal with larger-than-life personalities, such as President Obama, Mayor Corey Booker, Derek Jeter, Jay-Z, Beyoncé and much more. However, Angie is much more than a celebrity interviewer -- she is a passionate voice for her community, covering breaking news and current events, and bringing an important cultural perspective of the day’s events to her huge listening audience.

I love Latin food but I try to put a healthy spin on it. I have a site, www.HealthyLatinEating.com which I created to provide deliciously fresh, low-cal spins on traditional Latin favorites with cookbook to follow in 2015.
