Asher Roth is back. It’s been too long since Asher Roth’s break out 2009 single “I Love College.” I was just thinking how there wasn’t enough music about suburban kids woes, you know songs about waking up at 3pm, drinking Miller Lite out of a red cup, and not remembering where you parked your car… those kinds of problems.

Anyways, Asher Roth is back and ready for his second studio album with his characteristically lazy rhyming style and songs about things that appeal to a 26-year-old from Pennsylvania whose parents artfully named him Asher.

Asher left his first label at SRC/Universal Motown and has just signed with Def Jam Recordings and his sophomore album Is This Too Orange? will release this spring.

“Def Jam is a great place to call home,” says the rapper, “I’m excited to get back to the basics with good, honest music.”
