Ashton Kutcher’s career is on fire right now. Not only did he replace Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’, he may have taken over Katy Perry’s singing career too.

While accepting his surfboard for Choice Movie Actor in the romantic comedy category for “No Strings Attached” at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, Ashton full on broke into song with Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” which prompted the entire audience to sing along. But he was quickly shooed off stage before he could sing much longer. Katy—your job is safe. For now.

While sporting a casual beach look with his plaid shirt, glasses and straw hat, he told the audience: "I'd like to say thank you through the art of music.”

Besides singing, Ashton also gave fans a sort of financial advice at the Sunday night awards show. "Here's the best piece of advice I got when I was a teenager," he told them. "Don't ever charge anything on a credit card if you don't already have the money in the bank to pay for it."

Ashton Kutcher took home Choice Movie Actor: Romantic Comedy for his role in "No Strings Attached". He beat Penn Badgley ("Easy A"), Josh Duhamel ("Life as We Know It"), John Krasinski ("Something Borrowed") and Adam Sandler ("Just Go with It"). He was presented the award by "The Vampire Diaries" cast Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley.

And speaking of surfboards, Charlie Sheen is still riding his crazy mercury one. He told TMZ over the weekend that he would like to thank Ashton for saving his career.

According to Charlie, his funeral on the show just adds some closure to the story -- telling TMZ, “I have always been told that I have 9 lives, so it is going to be amazing to witness my own funeral which is clearly a win/win situation because Ashton has just given me a 10th."

Charlie claims he’s going to make a huge comeback on TV soon with a remake of ‘Anger Management’. If anyone needs some kind of management, it’s Charlie, so maybe it’ll work out for him.
