Azealia Banks and Lady Gaga Collaborate On New Song

Everyone wants a piece of the “Van Vogue” rapstress these days—including music provocateur Lady Gaga.

The native New Yorkers exchanged some not-so-cryptic Twitter messages last week—“When Mother Monster calls……….,”

Banks teased on the micro-blogging site; Then Gaga responded, “Can you make '99 Problems' my ring tone for when I call you, and then shout 'Bitch Ain't One' at me when you pick up?” Gaga suggested.

Banks confirmed to Capital FM that the avant-pop-rap track is in the studio works.

“Yeah, I worked on a song for her. I don’t know if it will make her record [ARTPOP]. I hope it will make her record, but we’ll wait and see,” Banks said on the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year Awards yesterday.

If it’s anything like the tracks off her Fantasea mixtape, Banks will slay-zealia on this future “go anthem-banana-getter.”

And on behalf of the world’s safety, it better be on ARTPOP! Otherwise, between their collective 30,000,000+ Twitter followers; an uprising of that number won’t be a pretty riot.

Banks also put it out there that she’d love to add MTV Video Music Awards 2012 opener Rihanna to the dream team of rap-pop collaborations. “No, I haven’t done a record for Rihanna. I’d like to, but I haven’t.”

The hype-iest female rapper out of Harlem made a YouTube splash with her single “212,” but has yet to have a mainstream radio debut of this magnitude. Fingers crossed!
