Beyonce & Jay-Z Kick Off American Tour

Beyonce, her alter ego Sasha Fierce and Jay Z rocked Madison Square Garden in New York last night as they kicked off the American leg of her “I am Sasha Fierce” American tour.

Beyonce emerged alone in a gust of smoke and rocked the house for two hours. She had several costume changes designed by Thierry Mugler, most of which were gold sparkly leotards, all form fitting, light reflecting and leg baring.

While sporting a sequined body suit, Beyonce rocked the house with hits like Crazy in Love, Broken-Hearted Girl, and Smash Into You.

The New York Daily News commented that "She's perfected a character that cannot be denied - no matter what name it goes under," and we couldn't agree more!
