Beyoncé let loose during a performance by her hubby Jay Z in London during Hackney Weekend. Cameras caught the singer on the sidelines close by moshing alongside other fans.
Just prior to Kanye West and Jay-Z’s performance of “Ni**as in Paris,” a circle parted in the crowded on in preparation to throw down. Jay-Z urged fans to hold the circle, and then counted down.
“10… 9… 8… 7…”
The crowd took over the count and when they got to “one,” Jay-Z shouted the signature “Let’s go,” cuing the opening beat.
Beyoncé – surprisingly – did not hesitate. Screaming along with fans she hopped, thrashed, and flailed every limb that she had in her possession. She wore a hoodie and rubber boots to protect her feet from the wet ground.
But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Beyoncé go crazy during a live show. Her and Jay-Z were spotted head banging along to Coldplay’s “Fix You” during a show in Manchester earlier this month.
Later in the evening, Rihanna took the stage to join her mentor Jay-Z. The duo performed their hit “Run This Town” for screaming fans.
Rihanna previously broke the rules for Kanye and Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne tour on their third stop at the O2 arena in London. Hackney Weekend is a free-ticked music festival that spawned from the Big Weekend held by BBC Radio 1. The event was held at Hackney Marshes in East London.
