The female ambassador to hip-hop is getting sneaky…

Beyoncé has been all over the place lately. She had a baby, then she lost all her baby weight eating lettuce, and all the while she’s won awards and made a number of red carpet appearances.

And, with all of the shenanigans of being a worldwide icon going on, she’s kept fans informed on her website.

Now, a new message is raising some eyebrows…

“Leave your footprint on 19 August 2012," she posted on the site on Wednesday.

The cloaked and juicy statement has fans and music critics alike all guessing on what is going on and what exactly we should expect.

One thing is for sure… It can’t be another baby, right? I mean, she was just rocking out at her hubby’s concert last month.

What it likely – and hopefully – is, is something to do with what’s next in her music career. She has reportedly already started working on her fifth studio release. Her last album, 4, hit stands in summer of 2011.

She is reportedly working on number five with OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder. The duo was spotted entering the studio together earlier this year.

Do I smell a first single?

It was reported that she was doing all that she could to keep her new album under cover as 4 was leaked three weeks prior to the official release date.
