Beyonce Talks about Her Fierce Alter Ego Sasha

We've all been scratching our heads trying to figure out the meaning behind Beyonce's new album title of "I Am...Sasha Fierce."

The upcoming release boasts two current hits, "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies" and Beyonce was more than happy to chat about it in the new issue of V magazine.

When asked about the name, she said, "It's a way for me to differentiate what I do onstage from who I really am. [I] tell myself, 'You are fierce!' And the second I take that first step [onstage] and hear that crowd, I kind of transform. It's like I'm ready for war."

With her massive fan base and a guarantee that the house will be packed every night at every show, we can certainly understand her feeling that way.
