Queen Bey has been awarded the highest honor at the MTV VMAs -- the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. It was a clear choice for MTV when choosing a recipient. Beyoncé is one of the only musicians with the power to command such a huge fandom. In this past year, she's not only dropped a number one album out of nowhere, she's also taken the world on a storm on one of the highest grossing tours ever. Not to mention the seventeen amazing music videos to go with each one of her tracks on her self-titled album? There is no one that does it like Beyoncé. Bow down, bitches.

Tune in live this Sunday, August 24 at 9 PM (PST).
