Either you become really successful after American Idol or you end up getting dropped by labels that originally have hope for you.
The latest American Idol finalist to get dropped from his record label is Blake Lewis.
"Arista Records will not be picking up Blake's option and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors," Arista Records told Ok! Magazine. "Blake is still with 19 Recordings."
Blake released his album only six months ago, which was titled A.D.D. (Audio Day Dream). That sux!
His album sold close to 300,000 copies.
Katharine McPhee, Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks were all also dropped from their labels.
