U2 to Headline Glastonbury Festival

He said, "At last the biggest band in the world is going to do the best festival in the world. Nothing could be better for our 40-year party, and there are even more surprises in the pipeline.”
This marks the first time U2 will play at the event, which will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next year. They’re also taking a break from their US tour to play it.
The show is so huge that tickets for this year’s festival have sold out even though much of the lineup has yet to be announced. They sold out within 24 hours last month, and 177,500 people are expected to be at the event. The festival runs June 23rd to 27th.
