DJ Pauly D wants to turn his fist pump into a fist bump with Britney Spears (you know a Jersey version of a handshake). The DJ is in talks with the pop princess for a collaboration- and he wants to make it official.

"I'm trying to get her to do a song. I've got my fingers crossed," Pauly D told MTV News at the first-ever MixTape Festival at Hershey Stadium. "It's 50/50. It's tough, but I got a perfect song for her. If that happens, that's a wrap."

Pauly says that he already played the track for Britney over the phone and that she likes it- and she will let him know soon if the collabo is going to happen.

The duo already have a business relationship- Pauly D was the opening act on Britney's 'Femme Fetale' tour where she infamously gave him a strange lap dance on stage.

But if things don't work out for him and Britney, he has a few other high profile names in the works. "Big Sean, I was in the studio with him a couple weeks ago," Pauly D said. "I'm going to be in the studio at the end of the month with Jay Sean and then a few others I can't mention."
