Britney Spears & Nicki Minaj:
After some initial opening act drama (Enrique was announced then quickly pulled out) Pop princess Britney Spears will be touring with the princess of R&B—Nicki Minaj. The ladies will also be joined by Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo on the all-female lineup. "This is the Femme Fatale tour, and I'm thrilled to have the hot Nicki Minaj join me and Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will get everyone on the dance floor," Spears said on her website. "Can't wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road." The tour kicks off on June 16 in Sacramento, California, and will run for 26 dates through North America, winding up on August 13 in Toronto. Select tickets go on sale on April 30 so start snagging up those tickets!
U2 is quite possibly one of the coolest bands in music history, so getting tickets for their show is a mission in itself. Their upcoming ‘360’ tour is set to become the highest grossing tour of all time, knocking out the Rolling Stones from the top spot. U2 manager Paul McGuinness said: "Fans all over the world agree that a ticket to U2 360 is good value for money. We're really proud of this tour and this achievement is great news, coming as we head back into North America." The tour starts in Mexico City on May 11 and ends in Morocco on July 30th. You can purchase tickets through Live Nation.
Get loud with Rihanna. The upcoming tour for Rihanna will be her fourth concert tour, the Loud Tour, starting later this year, and it is in support of her latest album. “We are building a section of the stage where the fans can be in the stage and part of the show,” she recently told the fans on American Idol. “I’m really not supposed to tell you.” RiRi is kicking off her ‘Loud’ tour on June 4th in Baltimore and will finish off the tour in Boston on July 24th.
If you can’t get enough of Glee, you’re in luck. Glee stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Jr., Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss will perform in an all-new live show. “The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” said creator Ryan Murphy. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.” Glee will kick off their tour on May 21st in Las Vegas, Nev. Mandalay Bay Event Center and will end June 18 Uniondale, N.Y. Nassau Coliseum.
Bruno Mars & Janelle:
Bruno Mars is one of my favorite acts. They always put on a great show, so they’re definitely on my list of must-sees this summer. Teaming up with Janelle, BM plan to offer up plenty more retro-soul goodness when they hit the road beginning in May. BM won the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance award at the Grammys, so you know they’re going to put on an awesome performance this summer too. The Hooligans in Wondaland Tour will kick off on May 4 - New York, NY @ Roseland Ballroom and end June 15 - Phoenix, AZ @ Comerica Theatre.
Katy Perry’s outrageous stage costumes are worth the ticket price itself. When she added UK singer Robyn to the mix, she had me sold. Katy just wrapped sold-out dates in the U.K. before heading to sold-out shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in May. Some of the best seats in the house for the upcoming North American shows will be sold via ticketsforcharity.com. A portion of the proceeds from those tickets will benefit three charities selected by Perry: Generosity Water, The Humane Society of the United States and the Children's Health Fund. To date, fans have raised more than $100,000 in charitable donations, according to a press release. She’ll kicks off her ‘California Dreams’ tour on Jun 07th at Gwinnett Center in Atlanta, GA. and will wrap up on Sep 23rd in Rio de Janeiro.
