'3 Things' with Bruno Major

Bruno Major is a London-based singer-songwriter currently bubbling up from the underground thanks to a soulful voice, masterful guitar work, and an unmistakable mop of hair. After releasing a Live EP of heart-wrenching solo tracks last month on Virgin Records, Major is currently in the studio with veteran producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Ryan Adams).  Before he takes over your radio in a few months, get to know a few things about Mr. Major with Stereotude's '3 Things':

When I was a kid I loved... to play guitar for hours on end, often through the night. I’d sit in my bedroom and listen to Miles Davis, Joe Pass, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Bill Evans, all the jazz greats, and try to internalize the way they played, and thought about music.

If I wasn’t a musician I’d be... a lost soul. It's the only thing I’ve ever been good at, and the only thing that makes me truly happy. I work hard at it, but it doesn’t feel like work. I remember when i wrote my first song, I felt so at peace, I became complete as a person.

In 2050 I’ll be... 62 years old. But maybe medicinal technology will have advanced so much that actually 62 will only be halfway through life. I hope they will have commercialized space travel by then. I’d love to experience zero gravity, and be able to look back at the Earth from above.
