Don’t stress, but more details have emerged about “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” and no, it’s not that Taylor Lautner is naked in the entire 3rd act.
But, the film’s soundtrack will debut on Tuesday November 8th and we have the first sneak peek at the track listing.
Bruno Mars announces his new song “It Will Rain” will be on the upcoming “Twilight” soundtrack. The song has yet to be heard, but fans can hear the new track ahead of the album release next Tuesday September 27th.
The song will be available exclusively to buy on iTunes and you can pre-order the entire soundtrack that same day. You can also hear the song on Bruno Mars official website on Tuesday.
Bruno Mars’s track is the first to be confirmed for the Twilight soundtrack, with the rest of the track listings being released on Monday September 26th on the "Breaking Dawn" Facebook page.
No idea what the song sounds like, but from the cover art it seems like it might be a somber track. The song illustration features a silhouette of Mars slouched over in a chair with a bottle in one hand and an umbrella in the other. The title “It Will Rain” drips in black ink over a wash of swirled red and orange paints.
Hopefully the song becomes a Top 5 hit just like his other debut songs, “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade” and “The Lazy Song.”
If you can’t handle waiting all the way until November 18, 2011 to see Breaking Dawn, you can buy the soundtrack 10 days earlier and just pretend like you’re watching Bella and Edward get married while you listen to the smooth vocals courtesy of Bruno Mars.
Past artists to create music for the Twilight soundtracks include Robert Pattinson himself, Paramore, the Black Keys and Muse.
Last month “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon announced that while he can’t confirm if Robert Pattinson will indeed by on this new soundtrack he did hint that some of the cast members might lend their talents to the album.
“We’re just figuring out [the soundtrack] now,” Condon tells MTV, “We have a lot of [songs]. We have like 15, I think.”
Yesterday on Bruno’s official website, they teased that there was a big announcement coming, so you can either rest easy knowing that new Bruno Mars music is coming next week or start hyperventilating that one of pop music’s biggest stars is combining with the hugest movie franchise in America. Take your pick.
I personally am going to start hyperventilating in 5, 4, 3, 2, ohhh here we go…
