Carrie Underwood to Perform on Idol Finale

Carrie Underwood will be heading back to where she started—the American Idol stage! If you watch the show, you know Carrie’s version of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” plays each time a contestant is sent home.

Now you’ll get a chance to see Carrie perform the song live on the Idol finale show, when either Kris Allen or Adam Lambert will be sent home, and the other one will be crowned the next Idol!

Carrie, in conjunction with 19 Recordings, Sony Music Nashville, and iTunes, will be donating a portion of the proceeds of the download of the song to The Humane Society. That organization helps animals, provide spay/neuter services, and rescue and shelter animal victims of puppy mills and disasters.
