Breezy strikes again with another epic music video.

The latest is for Chris Brown’s “Don’t Wake Me Up” has arrived. Visuals that unfold in his latest installment reveal another high-budget, visual effects-infused production.

It opens with a desert at the cusp of dawn. A blurred figure walks in the distance… Then, the woman’s voice…

“Dearly beloved… If this love only exists in my dreams… Don’t wake me up.”

Though it’s no Inception, dream as a metaphor continues from the single to the video version of the song. Brown tosses and turns in bed as the “Dream Brown” chases an illusive lover through three different doorways. Behind each… a new dream world.

First up is a foggy hedge maze straight out of David Bowie’s Labyrinth or Stephen King’s The Shining. Breezy peruses a gorgeous vixen in a white gown until she disappears by walking through a brick wall.

The next world is a little less thought out and as a result is brief on screen… Brown walks after the woman while singing on top of a cloud. Skyscrapers inexplicably loom in the distance.

Finally, there’s the car chase. Brown and the mystery girl each get their own vintage roadster. The result lands Brown in a car crash once and on take two… rocketing off the edge of a massive canyon.

“I don’t want to fall, fall, fall, fall asleep,” Brown sings as the car falls. “I don’t want to fall unless I’m falling for you.”

A surprisingly linear sequence is cut together with Brown – the man we saw on the opening shot - singing in the desert wasteland. As the song progresses, video cuts get quicker until a quiet conclusion: Brown and the woman lay side-by-side in bed, each fixed with Matrix-like brain probes.

Brown previously performed “Don’t Wake Me Up” on NBC’s “Today.”

The musical force behind the track is a collaborative effort from Brown and Parisian Producer David Guetta. The duo previously teamed up on their hit “I Can Only Imagine.”

We can only imagine that you all are anxiously awaiting the release of Breezy’s fifth studio album Fortune, which will feature “Don’t Wake Me Up.” That record will drop July 2.

Until then… Don’t wake him up, alright?
