Chris Brown Back on Charts After YouTube Video
July 31, 2009 by: CELINE ALLENDE

A new video has taken YouTube by storm. It features newlyweds Kevin Heinz and Jill Peterson, along with their bridal party, boogying down the isle to Brown’s hit song Forever. The video made such an impact, that the couple got interviewed on the Today Show earlier this week! The couple posted the clip of their wedding ceremony just one day before Brown’s apology.
The creative clip scored a total of 11.6 million hits! In the week ending July 26, it sold 50,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That’s an increase of 1,721% in sales compared to the previous week! The song is now number 21 on the Hot Digital Songs chart.
According to Billboard.com, It's the first time the single has appeared on the list since Jan. 31. It's also the best sales week for any of Brown's songs since Christmas week of 2008, when Forever shifted 77,000.
Wow, that’s quite a jump! It’s clear Brown owes this couple a thank you! Maybe chipping in on some of the honeymoon fees could be arranged? Check out the video here:
