Star and Radar recently reported that Chris Brown was shouting anti-gay slurs during a pickup basketball game at 24 Hour Fitness on June 29. They report that “He got really ticked off when things didn't go his way during the game, saying, 'That's gay! And 'You're a f-gg-t a-' to other players.”
However, Chris reps are saying that the article in Star Magazine and the reports online are completely fictitious.
First of all, his reps are claiming that Chris Brown was nowhere near a basketball game on June 29 as he was filming a video that day and “never left the set.”
They revealed to Hollyscoop, “he spent the entire day with dozens of members of the production team filming the video for “Body To Body” at 1870 Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood.”
Brown's reps also claim that the photo that Star choose to accompany the fabricated story was a photo of Chris playing b-ball in New York in March.
Geez Star, you're basically the colorful and glossy version of National Enquirer at this point.
Brown has been working overtime to revamp his image ever since Rihanna accused him of violence against her. Brown has made videos with child-star Justin Bieber and won like every BET award this year. Chris Browns management is considering taking legal action against the paper.
