If you’re one of the 498,468 people who follow Chris Brown on Instagram, you know him as @fuckyopictures.
R&B/hip hop singer and street artist Chris Brown has been sharing his artwork with fans via the photo-sharing iPhone and Android app. Today’s latest installment captures Brown doing some housework.
Sort of…
“I’m painting my garage!” the caption reads.
In the photo, Brown stands beneath a towering spray-painted image on a wall inside the garage. The artist examines his work: a masked face with bulging eyes and a bloodied nose in a very pop art style. Brown tagged the piece “BREEZ.”
The image is a lot more “comic book” and a lot less “tagged” compared with Brown’s previous work; perhaps the result of a recent collaboration with famed street artist, Ron English.
English is known for his blazingly colorful street art, strongly influenced from the style of pacesetter, Andy Warhol. Brown and English recently collaborated on an exclusive line of toys and sculptures that are being showcased at a VIP art exhibit in Los Angeles.
On the music front, Brown was recently a four-time nominee at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. According to Brown’s website, his new album, Fortune, is “coming soon.” Tracks “Sweet Love” and “Till I Die” have already been released.
