Chris Brown's BET Breakdown: Real or Acting?

Chris Brown broke down crying during last night’s BET Awards as he was performing “Man in the Mirror” during the Michael Jackson tribute.

He could barely even get the lyrics out, which left the audience to fill in the blanks and sing in his place. He got a standing ovation at the end of the song. But we have to wonder…was that for Chris or for Michael?

We don’t know what to think of this “tribute.” It all seems a little selfish. We understand his emotion, it being the 1-year anniversary of Jackson’s death, but doesn’t Brown seem like he’s putting on a bit of a show?
