Christina Aguilera will reportedly perform at next month’s American Music Awards. This will be her first post-divorce announcement performance.
According to a press release, Aguilera will perform a song from her upcoming movie Burlesque on November 21.
AMA producer Larry Klein stated, "Christina is known for her powerful
and engaging performances. We are looking forward to her Burlesque
number which will showcase moments from one of the most anticipated
films of the season."
She will join other previously announced acts including Bon Jovi, P!nk
and Usher. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the
The soundtrack to Burlesque will be released on November 22nd on RCA
Records and features numerous original songs co-written and performed by
Christina as well as production by Tricky Stewart and Linda Perry and
songwriting by Claude Kelly, Tricky Stewart and Sia. Burlesque also
includes remakes / covers of classic songs such as Etta James'
"Something's Got A Hold On Me" and "Tough Lover" and Mae West's "A Guy
What Takes His Time.”
