Christina Aguilera has had one helleva year. She flubbed the words to the national anthem, was taken into custody for public intoxication, had her ‘Bionic’ album flop and was bashed by critics for her performance in ‘Burlesque’.
But thanks to NBC’s hit show ‘The Voice’ she avoided becoming a has-been and is now back on top and working on another album.
Christina promises her next album won’t be anything like ‘Bionic’ but a lot more like her most successful album to date—‘Stripped’.
“It’s going to be a very heartfelt, deep-rooted, and introspective record for me. We’re hoping for release in spring/summer next year,” Aguilera told Croatia’s RTL Televizija.
That gives her just enough time to regain all the fans she’s lost this year and make an awesome comeback. With a voice like hers, it would be a shame to have another album flop.
