While X-Factor is firing and hiring a ton of new people, the stars from 'The Voice' seem to be safe-for now. Christina Aguilera has re-signed for a third season of the hit show, but for a nice pay raise.
Xtina will reportedly get $10 million dollars for the third season of the show, according to TheWrap.com. That's a lot of cheddar yo!
There were rumors that show execs were going to fire her because they weren't sure how committed she was to the show and her diva demands were becoming out of control, but its nothing $10 mil won't fix.
Speaking about the possibility of a third series, a source said: "We're really pleased with the entire cast. You look at the ratings and it's no accident."
Speaking of ratings, did you know 'The Voice' is NBC's highest rated show? Xtina's two-sizes-too-small outfits are solely responsible. Okay, maybe not solely, but you know you tune in to see her cha-chas hanging out.
When asked what makes the show so great Xtina said: "There is no good and bad. This isn't about tearing people down. I want to bring these people up. Instinctually, you can judge people based on the way they look. I love that fact we get to sit here with our backs turned away from these people, I'm looking forward to getting moved."
All four judges from the first series--Christina, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton - have returned for the current second series and will most likely all return for season three too.
