The platinum blonde host of “The Voice” just got a whole lot more diva.
UK group The Wanted was put off by Christina Aguilera’s behavior during their appearance on Monday night on the singing competition show. The group made their feelings known Wednesday during an interview on New York radio station 92.3 "Now FM."
“She’s a total bitch,” member Tom Parker said. “"She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us, she was a total bitch.”
According to the group, Aguilera completely ignored the band, avoided eye contact and did not speaking with them.
"She was quite rude," Siva Kaneswaran confirmed. "Who does that?"
Other than theorizing that Aguilera was simply in a bad mood that day, they had no other explanation for her actions.
Along with getting snubbed by the “Genie in a Bottle” singer, The Wanted performed their latest single “Chasing The Sun” to cheering fans on the episode.
The group had experienced a completely different vibe when they appeared on “American Idol” earlier this month and performed their hit “Glad You Came.” You may recall a certain kiss that Max George planted on J.Lo during the set...
“Yeah, well J.Lo's hot, Christina's nothing special," George said.
Ouch...
With comments like that, I’m not even sure if puckering up can earn Christina forgiveness from these rising stars.
