Coldplay Announces Summer Tour

Coldplay has some big news! The Grammy-nominated group is not only gearing up for the big show this weekend, but they’ve just announced plans for a summer tour as well. It’s the perfect time to announce their plans, right before they have the chance to win a possible seven Grammys for their latest album Viva La Via Or Death And All His Friends.

That’s quite impressive! Coldplay will be competing in the categories of Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Performance, Best Rock Performance, and Best Rock Album.

The group is already tied into a world tour at the moment. In fact, right after the Grammys, they jet off to Tokyo, London, and Melbourne.

But the boys will be back on American soil this summer, kicking things off in Portland, Oregon on July 10th, and playing straight through August, where they’ll play their last show in Tampa, Florida.
