Coldplay Getting £1 Million to Perform for New Years

Coldplay is so in demand, they’re getting paid £1 million to perform on New Year's Eve. Go the conversion to USD in google and you’ll be even more impressed.

The band was flown out to Volvo Ocean Race venue in Abu Dhabi by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed for a very special New Year’s Eve.

Table tickets for the exclusive event cost £4,300, which includes car parking passes, champagne and spirits.

Jonny is particularly excited to be performing at the venue because he loved his visit the last time he went.

He told The Sun newspaper: "I've never stayed anywhere like the hotel they put me in and probably never will again. It made Buckingham Palace look like a two-bed semi."

The cool part is the Crown Prince gets an Oscar winner for no additional charge. Gwyneth Paltrow will most likely join the band so she can spend New Years with her hubby Chris Martin. Sounds like a steal.
