Coldplay Giving Fans Free Album

Coldplay knows these are tough economic times for people. So they’re showing their soft side by offering a free CD to their fans! The catch is that you have to attend one of their shows this summer. Not a bad consolation prize!

According to the Coldplay website, everyone who attends of their concerts receives their live album LeftRightLeftRightLeft as a “recession busting mark of gratitude.”

And for those of you who make a show this summer, you can download the 9-track CD on their website as of May 15. When did Chris Martin and the band get so generous?

Chris said in a statement, “Playing live is what we love. The album is a thank you to our fans—the people who give us reason to do it and make it happen.”
