Rihanna and Coldplay to Perform Together at the Grammys for First Time Ever

Rihanna and Coldplay, who teamed up on the track “Princess of China,” will perform the song together on the Grammys! This is excellent news. Why? Let me explain:

1) Coldplay has never collaborated or brought on a guest artist for any of their music in their entire career ever until Rihanna.

2) These two artists have never performed “Princess of China” together live since the album debuted and

3) Duh, everyone loves Coldplay and Rihanna, it’s just kind of an American value.

Music’s biggest night, The Grammys, will air live on CBS Sunday, February 12 at 8pm.

Also, Paul McCartney who was named the 2012 Musicares person of the year will also perform at the awards show. This year’s Grammys show is shaping up to be a collection of some of the best artists working today.

The line-up of performers already includes, Nicki Minaj, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

The show has a little something for everyone. Do you like country? They’ve got Aldean and Swift. Are you a baby boomer? They’ve got McCartney. Are you into Versace and strobe lights? They’ve got Nicki Minaj.

It was announced yesterday that after several years of The Grammys going without an official host, actor/rapper LL Cool J was named as this years emcee.

Not only has LL Cool J produced the Grammys for several years, but he has also been the host of the Grammy Nomination Concert since it’s inception in 2008.

Are you excited for The Grammys?
