No Doubt’s highly anticipated reunion album Push and Shove hits stores everywhere tomorrow and we’re already on the edges of our seats just waiting to get a little Gwen, Tony, Adrian, and Tom in our tragic lives again. It’s their first studio album in 11 years, so who knows when they’ll make another again?!
Except, let’s try not to focus on that yet—the album isn’t even out yet. To calm those universal nerves, Stereotude has an exclusive clip of “Looking Hot – Santa Monica Session,” an acoustic version of their newest single that makes you feel like you’re just chilling with the band in Adrian’s living room, which appears on the deluxe edition of the album available exclusively at Target.
This stripped down version removes the crazy crunch of the song’s Euro bass line for more basic bouncy guitar strumming and Gwen’s unique voice. Other exclusive cuts include No Doubt’s cover of Adam and the Ants’ “Stand and Deliver,” an acoustic version of “Easy,” “One More Summer (Jonas Quant Remix),” and “Push and Shove (Anthony Gorry Remix)”.
Target’s vice president of Entertainment John Butcher promises these unheard recordings won’t disappoint fans. “Target’s partnership with No Doubt offers fans exclusive tracks they can’t get anywhere else and gives them a more in-depth and personal look at the band.”
