America’s Golden Prom King and Queen of Country Music are headed to Vegas for a very academic sounding mini-residency at The Venetian Hotel, starting this December.
“We are creating a show that’s going to be remarkable for our fans. But I feel like its going to be one of the most remarkable experiences for us as well,” Hill said yesterday in a web-streamed news conference.
The idea for the show most likely stemmed from Faith and McGraw’s Soul2Soul tours in 2000 and 2006. Together two couple has sold more than 70 million albums, so their Venetian show dates should be well attended, to say the least.
The hotel is even modifying its theater in preparation for the event.
They’ll be replacing the Blue Man Group and The Phantom of the Opera as the Venetian’s resident show, and was supposed to share the space with a production of “Rock of Ages,” starting in December, but as of today only Faith and Tim are listed on the Venetian’s official entertainment calendar.
More importantly though: will Faith Hill ever age? Ever? She’s 44.
