When Beyonce has a baby, the internet and gossip world will probably know the second it happens. Heck, paparazzi will probably be sitting in the waiting room with Jay-Z and Kanye, holding hands and smoking cigars, however when less than A-List celebs have a kid, the world usually finds out about it a day later.
Fantasia Barrino had a baby yesterday morning, and is delighted to tell fans that she had a healthy baby boy whom she is naming Dallas Xavier.
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family," Barrino tells People mag, "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."
Barrino pulled a January Jones, meaning she wont tell us who the baby-daddy is, but she was most recently linked with Antwaun Cook, who was married when he first started dating Barrino. So he's probably the dad, but Barrino wants to keep it hush-hush. In a phone interview on the "Wendy Williams Show" Williams pressed Barrino about the baby's father and Barrino just said, "[I'm] not gonna talk about that."
Her son weighed in at 7lbs 9 oz and Barrino also has a daughter from a previous relationship, 10-year-old Zion.
Barrino initially announced she was pregnant over the summer at a concert and said, "You are the first persons that I share this news with. And I share this with you because I can relate to you. This child that I carry, God has given me this child. And I don't have to hide it from none of y'all."
But can you really relate to fans at a concert? Someone's been tweeting too much. Twitter confuses celebs into thinking that "fans" are "friends."
