A source told the Daily Mail: "Mitch first mentioned hosting a concert last summer but now the wheels are in motion. Florence, Lily Allen, Jessie J and Mark Ronson are being linked to the gig, but nothing is set in stone yet."
Basically, it's a who's-who of British musical talent. Lily Allen is known for recently having a baby and her collaboration song "5 O'clock" with T-pain, Jessie J provided house music throughout the VMA's and Mark Ronson is the hotter older brother to Lindsay Lohan's former flame Samantha Ronson. He's also Amy Winehouse's right-hand producer for many years.
This show could potentially have an awesome line-up. Screw the Glastonbury festival, it's all about the Amy Winehouse tribute concert.
Mitch Winehouse is hoping that ITV1 will televise the concert, while proceeds from the concert will of course go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Meanwhile, Mitch Winehouse would like a statue of Amy Winehouse to go up in her hometown of Camden. That Mitch Winehouse doesn't stop. He's already in talks to write her autobiography. He started her charity. He made sure that her posthumous album came out. And now he wants a statue of his late daughter.
Mitch is reportedly in talks with the local city council to make this happen, and wants the statue to sit outside The Roundhouse venue, which is where Amy made her last public appearance, just days before her untimely death.
