I think judges have had it up to their double chins over celebrities screwing up and wanting special treatment, that they're putting their foot down.

Foxy Brown just requested to get out of jail early so she can go to California for an ear examination and for repair of an electronic ear implant. And the judge said no. She probably couldn't understand Foxy, and just figured it was a ridiculous request and denied her.
