Believe it or not the 00's are almost over. There's one month left until we're officially done with this decade, which means it's time for the years end countdowns. But this year is different, we're counting down a decade!

Our friends over at Popeater conducted a year end (or shall we say decade end?) list of the top albums of the 00's. Check out the list below and tell us if you agree!

Pink and Green Day Scheduled to Perform at VMAs
The list of performers for this year’s MTV VMAs is growing! In addition to the already-confirmed Taylor Swift, both Pink and Green Day will also take the stage.

Pink is pscyhed for the gig, saying, “Last year I got to jump out of a window at the VMAs in LA. This year I can’t wait to blow the roof off Radio City in New York.”

Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day said, “We are excited to be performing at the Video Music Awards. You never know what’s going to happen, and it’s always a memorable experience for us.”

Other special appearances for this year’s VMAs include Katy Perry, Chace Crawford, and Ne-Yo as well. And as Hollyscoop previously reported, Russell Brand is back as the host.

The VMAs are returning to NYC after having the last two years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. We can’t wait! This is always one of the best musical shows of the year.

The VMAs will be taped on Sept 13 @ 9PM ET/PT.
