Last week, “Harlem Shake” by Baauer reached the coveted number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The development comes after Billboard’s landmark decision to include YouTube views, or streaming, in its data gathering.
By now, “Harlem Shake” has reached “Gangnam Style”-meme status, earning hundreds of millions of views from fan parody viral videos. In case you haven’t already made one, here's some basic guidelines to help craft your next Internet opus.
(Note: no matter what song comes next, many of these points will probably apply to future Internet viral video sensations)
Get somebody at least partially naked:
