A day after releasing his second single "It Girl," Jason Derulo has hit the promotional performance circuit, first stop, "America's Got Talent."
Also performing on the talent competition show last night was Maroon 5 with their Christina Aguilera assisted hit, "Moves Like Jagger," but it's clear that Jason Derulo was the overall fan favorite last night.
With his crew of energetic dancers and hype choreography, it seems like Jason Derulo actually has the "Moves Like Jagger." Well, Derulo mostly has the moves like Jackson, Michael Jackson that is.
Some parts of the blogosphere are complaining that his dancing style is just mimicking the great Michael Jackson, but really what music artist isn't influenced by the gloved one?
Derulo starts his performance atop a raised platform with a short performance of his mid-tempo ballad "It Girl" before dropping down to the stage for a fist-pumping rendition of his first hit, "Don't Wanna Go Home."
Although he's lip syncing, which isn't uncommon for these TV performances, he still gives an energetic performance and really, this 21-year-olds young fans don't know the difference.
His new album "Future History" drops September 27.
