The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will celebrate its world premiere by ringing in the New Year with a multi-day celebration featuring solo and mash-up New Year’s Eve headline performances by Grammy award-winning artists Coldplay and JAY-Z.
The collaboration, officially called “Viva La Hov featuring Coldplay and JAY-Z,” is illustrative of the resort’s spirited approach to creating a unique luxury experience.
The only downside is you have to be invited to the exclusive 3 day bash. The event is being organized by celebrity party planner Colin Cowie and will be invite only with no tickets being put on general sale to the public.
Guests will be treated to separate sets from Coldplay and Jay-Z before the two acts take to the stage together, and rumor has it
Beyonce may also make a special cameo on stage.
“Organizers have spent millions securing the acts,” a source told New York Post gossip column Page Six. “The word is that Beyonce is now looking for a Vegas New Year’s gig so she will be in town with Jay.”
What's the point if regular folks, the actual fans, can't see them on stage? There better be a jumbotron somewhere on the strip showing them perform live!
